JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Signal Technician at Infranord, you will encounter an exciting, varied, fun, and social job. With us, you will spend a large part of the day outdoors with your work team and in collaboration with other colleagues. Your work varies between new construction, inspection, and troubleshooting of the signaling system in our railway environment. Much of the work is done via digital systems and through documentation of controls and fault reports.

Working hours vary, and since travel, on-call duty at home, as well as weekend and night work may occur, it is important that you live in the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education with a focus on electricity, signaling technology, or equivalent.
• Ability to work varying hours.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• Driver's license (manual).
• Meets medical requirements to be approved for security service.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Approved basic signaling training, e.g., BSG1, BSG2, and Signal Technical Principles and Fundamentals (BSGS).
• Professional experience in signaling technology work within the railway.
• Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work equipment, and track vehicles, low and high voltage.
• Safety and Security Leader (SOS leader).
• Supervisor (TSM) for A-, L-, E-protection, and road guard.
• SISÄ authorization.
• Familiarity with various relay or computer-based signal interlockings (e.g., models 59, 65, 85, 95, etc.).
• ATC equipment and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS.
